How to Create Breaks Between Meetings

Breaks between meetings prevent you for having back to back meetings, or for when you need time to get from one location to another.

The length of breaks can be set when you create a New Event Template or edit a previously saved Event Template. Here is where to set breaks between meetings through your FreeBusy account:

  1. Click "Edit" on event template where you want to setup breaks between consecutive meetings.

2. Next scroll down to panel No. 3 to the 'When are you generally available for this meeting?’ section. By default, there are no breaks or buffers set. Click on the button to expand the options.

3. Check ‘Prevent back to back’ box to expend the options.

4. Select the time increment and click the save button. Now you're all set for the selected event template. This setting is not global. You'd have to set the break / buffer interval for every event template. This allows for more flexibility in customizing your availability.

Happy Scheduling!
